This car later broke down again at Brands Hatch for David Purley, then became a Formula 5000 car for 1973. Driven by Pierre Soukry for two attempts to race - first a DNS (oil pipe) and second a DNQ. It was then qualified for a race at Brands by Tony Trimmer, but a shock absorber broke off, and the car went into the barriers and that was the end of that. It still exists, in pieces, in Peter Connew's garage.
