Truth or dare night at Seirin basketball training camp and Kagami chooses a dare, then gets hit with "text a friend «i think I'm into you»" and Kagami somehow ends up picking Aomine as the friend to text.
Aomine is in Momoi's room, talking to her about Kagami because of course she knows he's bi and of course she knows he's into Kagami. Aomine has a different ringtone and message ding for Kagami, because of course he does. The message reads "I think I'm into you". Aomine freezes up and starts crying. Momoi celebrates with him because that's so great! That's amazing!
She sees the second message with "it was a dare sorry lmao hope I didn't give you a heart attack". Aomine doesn't. She deletes that message and excuses herself to the bathroom. She calls Kagami and yells at him as quietly as humanly possible.
Kagami is not kind of forced to take Aomine out on a date because Momoi is scary and she has hostages. Kagami cannot mention the dare part. He pretends to be into Aomine because his life is on the line.
Kagami fake dates him for two months before he realizes that, yeah, he's definitely truly into Aomine. He admits it to Momoi. She releases the hostages (all of his most precious belongings).
Aomine finds out a week after that because someone at Seirin slipped up how it's crazy that they're dating now considering it all started with a dare and Kagami wasn't even into Aomine.
Aomine is heartbroken.

Kagami rushes over to him after getting out of the changing room, picks him up and spins him around. Aomine rarely picks him up from practice, so of course he's happy. Aomine gets carried out in Kagami's arms.
"Are you into me or is this all for a dare?", he asks and Kagami freezes.
"... It stopped being a dare a long time ago."
He lied again but maybe it's not a lie? Maybe he truly was into Aomine for way longer than he is consciously aware of? It doesn't matter. Aomine smiles and rolls his eyes. He pouts how it's so stupid it all was a dare. He smirks how obviously he's hot enough to make Kagami fall for him. Kagami is glad Aomine's confidence is so high this week.
Momoi took more hostages from Seirin and threatened to cause a nuclear emergency if anything goes wrong again.
