I'm half working on a story called C-series, a compilation of lgbt stories with vampires werewolves and witches etc. So I made these two characters because the whole having a queen vampire in a castle somewhere and a vampire hunter being caught and enthralled, enemies to lovers trope and make them lesbians? Sign me up.
[I want to make a comic on these but with my inconsistent artstyle/ lack of motivation to make a character sheet never mind a comic I might just post these drawings then write a chapter beside them. so I could just write the story then show the illustration after.
I can't for the life of me remember where I read this, but I read when Nomura was creating Tifa she was originally going to be the Cetra bc he wanted her to, I guess be one of the only important female characters, but then the other devs said they needed to kill a main character that was important to the story, so that's when he decided to make Aerith the Cetra. Lol. He obvi preferred her dying over Tifa. Have you heard or read this somewhere?
It's in a post showing the concept art pages of an ultimania. I've reblogged it previously and someone else also made a post talking about the concept art page, so it's common knowledge.
Tifa is in the ancient role.
Sephiroth looks like Vincent and is Cloud's best friend and Tifa's brother.
Barret was called Blow lol
Cloud is Cloud.
When Kitase and Nomura started brainstorming a character to die, they immediately discounted Cloud because he's our hero. Barret is typically the self sacrificing trope and they'd done that, so discounted him too.
That left Tifa.
Nomura loves Tifa's design, so the rumour is he subbed her with Aerith and they split the role in two. Aerith gets the overarching plot and tragic death and Tifa remains the love interest.
Cut Sephiroth in 3, with one becoming Zack and the other Vincent - with the only concept stage hint being his and Tifa's matching colouring as former siblings - and there you have it.
Firewalking was playing at a cafe in LA this afternoon!! I was so excited I almost screamed but the cafe was empty. Idol Producer really is taking over hehe I miss this stage every day ❤️
We know Tifa's original design was meant to fulfill the role of the last Cetra, but do you think attributes such as her behaviour and her past with Cloud were created at the same time? I mean, Aerith owns that role, totally. But I do think it's interesting to wonder in the dynamics a person like her would have with the fact being the last Cetra, since she tends to be more reserved, and mature, and how this would change her relationship with Cloud... things will never know huh?
This is what we know for sure. Friendly refers to her relationship with Cloud, but it doesn't say childhood friends like with him and Tifa later.
We know the devs split the role, and gave all the intimate story development to Cloti.
If Tifa had the whole role it probably would've been similar to FFX.....which Nojima also wrote.

Day 13 - Pet Projects
Sportman (superhrdinská parodie)
Superhrdinové to mají snadné. Co kdyby radioaktivní pavouk nepokousal Petera Parkera, ale méně chytrého studenta? Co kdyby Bruce Wayne neměl jmění po svých rodičích? Co kdyby průměrný člověk dostal schopnosti, na kterých by neustále musel pracovat?
Marty je obyčejný chlap a vášnivý sportovní fanoušek. Chystá se sledovat finále Ligy mistrů a dokonce si koupil nový satelit, který přijímá všechny sportovní kanály, informace z databází turnajů a všech kdy natočených videozáznamů. Když Marty instaluje satelit na střechu, je zasažen bleskem, a po probuzení v nemocnici zjišťuje, že získal obsáhlé znalosti ze všech oblastí sportu, včetně technik pohybů, taktiky v zápasech a veškeré sportovní regulace a historické údaje. Teoreticky se stal nejlepším sportovcem na světě. Jediný háček je v tom, že Marty není zrovna ve formě a nejradši by dál jen seděl u televize.
Zakrátko přivolají Martyho výkony pozornost vyšších mocí v podobě agentky Lisy. Lisa chce zachránit svět a být nejlepší, ale chybí jí zkušenosti a konexe. Doufá, že spolupráce s Martym ji vytáhne na vrchol. Rozpočet Operace Sportman však stačí jen na druhořadé vybavení a jednoho velice naštvaného trenéra, který nenávidí všechno, co Marty reprezentuje.
Jednou z prvních misí týmu je zastavit zásilku nezjistitelného dopingu mířící do fotbalového týmu Šakali. Marty v průběhu mise učiní chybu a zásilka se dostane do rukou Šakalů. Zdá se, že je vše ztraceno a operace bude zrušena. Lisa ovšem přichází s nápadem, že kvůli nákladům na produkci dopingu by mohlo stačit zpochybnit jeho účinnost během zítřejšího finále, a zmizí z trhu sám.
Martymu zbývá jediná možnost. Musí sám vstoupit na zelený trávník a vyhrát.
