Celine trying to convince Rumi that she shouldnât have her patterns out for everyone to see (again) and when Mira, whoâs passing by the living room at the time, just goes, âOkay, Mother Gothel,â and leaves thereâs a long beat of silence.
It took a while for Celine to get the reference but when she does, she doesnât appreciate the association. And Rumi, is stuck between wanting to laugh and cry at the same time because Celine so IS a âMother Knows Bestâ ass bitch but also Celine did isolate her, made her dependent on her approval, still makes her question if she really does love her, and many more icky (it probably was abuse if she thinks about it too long) things.
Itâs safe to say that the conversation fizzles out very quickly after that and Celine returns to the compound alone in a shame filled silence.
When Zoey hears about it (from Mira because Rumi still isnât the sharing type) she scolds her when she recovers from her own mirth at the admittedly well placed one-liner. Not for Celineâs sake but for Rumiâs. After all, Tangled was a banned movie in the penthouse for a reason, dammit.
