I'll be sure to clear up the confusion. "Dead Dove: do not eat" refers to the tags in the post being taken seriously, and the audience is responsible for their own actions if they continue reading.

Basically, in darker content, it's telling the reader if they get upset or uncomfortable after reading. The "Dead Dove: do not eat" is telling them if the tags make them unformatable, they shouldn't read further; otherwise, it's their own fault if they do.

While it isn't exclusive to darker content, it is used by most people who make more uncomfortable or disturbing posts. I asked because I wanted to share some of my fanfics with you in the upcoming months. While I don't write a lot of dark content, I do enjoy writing mysteries and thrillers, so it sometimes falls under that category.

I'm also a bit let down by the immmortalis trailer, but I'm still hopeful for it being at least a little fun. I think it's gonna be an AU or a post queen ending where the protagonist gets off the island somehow. either way I do like to think it's taking place in a completely different kingdom.
