#complaining.

I just have a constant undercurrent of simmering irritation going on in the back of my head abt Hamilton (the musical) discourse so forgive me for bringing it up but like. No one Has to like Hamilton as a show or enjoy the music or anything but I do think a lot of discourse around it is a prime example of ideological purity being a stronger consideration than practical good being done. Cause like, say what you will about the people it represents and how it represents them (which even then I would argue is in a much more complex light than basically any other mainstream representation of them) (for the most part. Not universally). It opened SO many doors for actors of color to break into doing live theater and continues to do so. And I hate that people choose to dislike the show as an entity for being ~problematic~ without actually considering the effect it's had on the industry

I've been sick as a dog for the last week and I'm getting worse. Even the urgent care ladies seem confused. I've been steadily getting worse for the last few days. I haven't broken a fever but I have one now.
