#communication challenges

Anyone else very specific with the words/language they use and knows the exact definitions of words and expects other people to as well? This is a communication gap I sometimes struggle with because people act like synonyms are equally interchangeable and people get upset when I point out that it’s not the right word but I will not understand what they’re trying to say to me if they don’t use the correct language. People tend to get frustrated with me for being a know it all but I genuinely think people mean the words they’re using and it’s a problem.

i hate sorts of people that ask for like a good 20 minute explanation of something and then like halfway through the explanation theyre like “wait so what do you mean by X” and its like?????????? i cant explain X without explaining A and B first and plus i already explained how A is involved in this so what do you mean by “wait what do you mean by X” you are fucking wasting my time fuck off
