What to do if?
If someone tells you about you and they are being dishonest ::
+say "thank you for sharing" before asking them for proof. If they don’t have any, debunk them with class and carry-on.
If someone tells you about you AND they are asking you a question::
+take a breath and ask them “Is this a question or statement?”
If someone tells you about you and they are saying something you don’t want to hear or have never heard or considered before ::
+say "thank you for sharing".
THEN proceed with the conversation.
Communication is key, if you can’t converse with the people you’re supposed to and have those difficult conversations then that’s something you need to work on.
Ignoring people for hours is childish, especially when you’re the one who causes the conflict.
