Not that snow. That's rarely seen here in winter as any Londoner would tell you. This is the Galanthus nivalis that normally flowers in January and February.
The camera was held low and at the level of the snowdrops.

Woodland snowdrops (*Galanthus nivalis) London by Adam Swaine Via Flickr: Woodland snowdrops (*Galanthus nivalis) are iconic, early-blooming white flowers that carpet woodland floors, parks, and riverbanks from January to March, symbolizing hope and the arrival of spring. They thrive in dappled shade under deciduous trees where they get early light before leaves emerge, preferring moist, well-drained soil rich in leaf mould, forming naturalized drifts that bring cheer to the winter landscape.
