I was thinking about my fic again and I was thinking of my favourite comments and moments I had so far while writing and I was curious if anyone else had moments they want to share.

Comments are my favourite way to get feedback and I love reading them. Some of my favourites were:

A comment that reminded me of a plothole in an upcoming chapter and had me frantically re-writing the chapter to include the loose plot thread! (Was extra work but it made my story better!)

A comment I had to translate from Russian equating my character to the Ninja Turtles. 😂

A moment when I was writing, and a rather simple scene but one line of dialogue shifted an entire character's future I hadn't planned for and had to re-write my plan so a canon character lived instead of died... Mostly because the speaking character took on a mind of her own.

Talking with a friend of mine and they were telling me about a scene from the canon show and I paused and said "that wasn't canon, that was my fic." This still makes me happy!

Whether I manage to get it out or not, I really have to thank you folk. You were so enthusiastic in your response to the last chapter—comments and absolutely stunning fanart, oh my—and that was very, very inspiring. This chapter was a struggle, but that really helped me get through it.

I got this super enthiusiatic comment on my Witch!Steve Art. It’s from @pleasedontfightmeoverharlos​ I feel really loved! They also mad a Fanart for my Punk AU. HOW AWeSoME is that??? 💙💙💙

ooooOOOH MY FLIPPING GOD THIS IS AMAZING JESUS CHRISTTTT! THE ANATOMY IS SO ON POINT AND THE POSE IS SIMPLE BUT I LOVE IT AND THE MONOCHROME COLOUR SCHEME APART FROM HIS EYES, THE JEWELLERY, THE FIRE AND THE CATS EYES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA THIS IS LITERALLY SO GOOD I CANT

The next comment I got from moonlightx on Ao3 on my fic “The Sevent Life”. It’s really lovely! And they also took the time to point out some mistakes and suggested some better tags!

i ADORE your art on tumblr, so i’m thrilled to see you writing!! and god—witch steve and cursed cat!billy is PERFECT for halloween. steve with tats is HOT.

i already love this universe. i love how steve uses herbs and comes from a family line of witches and thinks in such detail about the veil thinning and rituals (the rot of the other side, barb at the edges of his consciousness and screaming, clove and fire for samhain—WOW). billy is terrifying but also i love how he stands up for his beliefs and honestly? his badass-ness is kinda hot, whoops.

oh my god, i can’t wait for more. poor steve is gonna get his heart broken. and who cursed billy? and why? will robin show up? can she be a witch or something magical too? is there a big bad creature they’re gonna have to fight like the mind flayer but witchier? ILL SHUT UP NOW.
