i saw TADC The Last Act in theaters yesterday and it was a masterpiece
partly because like 70% of my theories were proven correct and partly because being surrounded by other fans who care deeply was life-changing

I kind of stumbled into Smallville as a fandom at the beginning of 2025, during my explorations of Batman fics. I was too young to have watched the show during its original run.
At the time, the fandom (at least on AO3) was…essentially dead. A few newer fics, a few being crossposted. But it would go DAYS sometimes before my Smallville AO3 tab would have anything new pop up to the top.
And then Netflix added Smallville to their roster, for certain countries. And I love it.
People posting here on Tumblr, new fics daily on AO3, regular updates.

This is such a random post but I'm so greatful for the fnaf fandom on Tumblr and my mutuals.
I feel like especially after the pandemic fandoms grew much larger (which is awesome) but it can feel so isolating. I guess it depends on the fandom space too because Twitter was a very lonely fandom space I feel.
Fandom spaces have changed so much and I'm very glad the space I've found here has a sense of community and of people wanting to uplift one another!!
I won't yap about how fandom has changed (because it would be an essay) but yeah I'm so happy I put myself out there a little bit more online to find folks with similar interests!!
I'm a little in love with the authors of every fanfic I read. Every writer has a tiny piece of my heart because every writer writes the characters I love, writes stories that give me happiness and sadness and love and grief. Every author has made me feel something, new emotions and old emotions and emotions I don't recognize. Each and every fic I've ever read lives within my heart and soul, and the authors are always a part of that. They give us these beautiful gifts just by writing about our most beloved characters and sharing their writing with us and I love them so much.

the only problem that i have with Deltarune is that it's just too cool.
i have to force myself to not reblog every post i see because they're all so cool and i love them all so much, see because if i did that, then my entire feed and my entire blog would just be Deltarune reblogs when Deltarune isn't my main fandom at all!
