Issue 2 of Secret Wars slowed down a bit and gave the characters a few quiet moments, but it's mostly just tussle tussle posture tussle. It's not much different from cartoons of the era. Secret Wars issue 2 recaps events from the first issue. I'm worried that issue 12 may just be a recap of issues 1-11... 80s comics were very aware of new readers. I'm reminded of the original #Wolverine mini-series, in which we learn about his claws and his bones and how he's the best there is at what he does, and how it ain't pretty, in every issue of the series. I wonder if we'll ever see #KirbyKrackle on the big screen. Revisiting the original #SecretWars for the first time since I was a kid.
