I finished my first face up & wig. They kinda are...flawed. But I like them.
She started out as a Comfy Squad Cinderella. I got her because I thought she had the knee joints. Turns out you need to get the one with the scooter to get knee joints.
Disney. Hey. Hey Disney... What’s with that? Give your dolls full articulation.
And more fashions. I need good clothes for these dolls.
They do fit the Real Little's shoes, though. The ones that are supposed to be keychains and come in blind box shoe boxes. So that’s nice. (Ken also fits them too, but you do need to wiggle the foot in.)
I made the jacket myself, and the other things are from Dollar General, Barbie, or Disney packs.
I used real hair, and it feels like silk... but it was hard to put in place. I realized afterwords I should have used another type of glue. But still, not bad, I think. I like the wings and curls. I always wanted hair this long.
Kitling ate one of her hands, so I had to replace it with a Monster High Hand. They make the best hands. The face is a little wonky, but I think the general idea is there. For a first time doing this? I don’t think I did so bad. She has eyelashes (faux, obviously) but you can’t quite see them with the hair.
After holiday crafting, I think I’ll pick another doll to work on and see if I can do better. I want one with full articulation, though.
