Apparently the alien Max approves of Comet Man’s physique in issue one of the comic. The series was created by Bill Mumy, Miguel Ferrer, and Kelley Jones (February 1987),
Max listens to Earth radio in 1987’s Comet Man #3, by Miguel Ferrer, Bill Mumy, Kelley Jones and Gerry Talaoc. Sting’s “Russians,” released in 1985, was then the newest of the four songs quoted here—but it’s worth noting that Mumy was also half of Barnes & Barnes, who recorded “Fish Heads”!
