pronounced “flour” exactly like you say “floor”

asked for a “map” at an information kiosk and the lady was very confused because even when i repeated myself it really sounded like i wanted a “mop”

wrote “cookies” except it was “cockies” like four times in my life but that’s four too many

been told my accent “sounds like someone wearing plaid who just got done chopping wood in the forest” whatever that means

learned that “colonel” was not in fact pronounced like “caramel” and was (to this day) too lazy to google how to say both of these words 

clearly enounciated the T in “castle” everytime i sang along to Cascada

pronounced the word “anemone” correctly and thought i was wrong because so many people say “amenone”

spoke (fluent) english for 10 years, yet still has to google how to write “believe” every single time

“imagine if people pronounced X like Y lmao” i pronounce them the same way and now i don’t know which one is wrong
