first off y’all are right and second here you have it:

it looks all fucked because i’ve had this idea of building it with a “national park” vibe, so all those weird paths are actually meant to replicate hiking trails! 

there’s going to be 3 main trails that make up most of the island, although i do have a lot of work to do still (even more now that my plans have been RUINED and i’ve had to redesign everything when i learned i could only build 8 ramps total but that’s besides the point) bottom right corner is a more residential area but i do try to keep it very natural

and the spots on the map where it looks particularly fucked are the ones where i built tons of waterfalls! like so

you guys seemed to be really interested about my island since my last post so here’s a little update for those of you who are curious! if you remember i’m trying to make a “national park” with my island, and one of the trails (the forest one) is looking pretty good right now:

i should’ve taken pictures at night, the little tree’s bounty lights are on and it’s so pretty! maybe i’ll post some later.. the orchard trail is also getting some little upgrades:

an outdoor bath and a little “lavender field” which i saw something similar online and thought it was such a clever idea! so i made one with some beehives:

the third and last trail is going to be the mushroom/magic forest trail and i’m juuust starting it but here’s a little preview:

AND ONE LAST THING i made a second profile just so i could have another building and make a “welcome center”! it’s also far from finished but i’m trying to emulate the kind of building they might have to welcome people when you visit a national park (or even a campground!)
