First ride for a quarter horse mare.

I spent quite a few years pretending I liked starting colts. . I mean in theory I did. I liked how my colts rode because I’d built that relationship from the beginning. . But in my head I was in full on panic. My anxiety level was through the roof. . I’m so grateful I was able to overcome that fear. . Today, I look forward to helping the next one I get to start. No anxiety. No second guessing: straight on belief in what I’ve learned from life and from the horse and from those who’ve done more of it than me. .
