I finished this #pastel #drawing . I really like the sandpaper-like ground on the paper. The ground can be bought in the form of paste and applied to most surfaces. A Lesson In Concealing: Color-Correcting Cream Concealers

There are 4 main colors that are used for color-correcting:

Green:

This should be applied to your reddest areas. It works great for defusing discoloration from rosacea and for covering up irritation caused by breakouts. Apply it in small, or large, quantities anywhere that you need it. Don't be afraid to layer!

Lavender:

This concealer isn't needed for everybody, but those who have a yellow-based skin tone will benefit highly from it. Apply it lightly in any affected areas.

Orange:

If you have dark blue veins or any grayish spots on your face, this will counteract it. Apply it over your problems areas in layers until the coverage is what you're looking for.

Yellow:

This should be applied anywhere that you have purples on your face. Apply it to any scars or dark spots you have under your eyes. If it is a pale yellow, it can also be used as a brow and cheek highlight.

Now let's go over how to apply it:

Prepare your face by washing, toning and moisturizing it.

Use either a brush or your finger to dab it onto any areas you need it.

Blend it out into your skin so there are no harsh lines.

Apply your foundation and finishing powder.

I personally prefer to use the Colourfix 3-in-1 palette, which is a cream concealer that is perfect for dry, oily or combination skin and has a medium to high coverage. NYX also sells individual jars if you only need one color or two colors.
