This is my second approach to carousel horses. I found it extremely challenging but an excellent subject to practice volumes and textures. I made it since I wanted to test Lyra's Rembrandt Polycolor pencils. I'm very impressed with them. They are highly lightfast and behave like something in between FC Polychromos (oil based) and Prismacolor Premiers (creamy and shiny).
