Bugs Life Colour sheet from Pixar

I used colour sheets from Pixar films to know how I wanted my animation to look colour-wise.

There were 4 main colours I tended to use.

Orange, blue, green, and yellow.

seems the Radsteed  was an enjoyable piece that everyone liked.

so here are some colour variations of the radsteed starting in  order.

1.  The Rad Runner.

these steeds are found  in the glowing sea. their hide is hardened  and leathery due to high levels of radiation they  endure in the harsh  environment of the  glowing sea. most of their face,legs and underbelly are raw and fleshy as they gallop through the boiling pools of irradiated  waste  that  pepper  much of  the terrain.  thus giving them their name.

2.  Glowing One.

these  variation of Radsteed is  the  equivalent to the feral ghoul glowing one. these steeds are rare to come across in the wasteland but  are quite  the sight at night. they are often accompanied by two or three other Radsteeds. this is  due to them producing and emitting high levels of radiation that they can project in a eruption from their bodies when in need of defense.  because of this trait they are  often the leader of small  herds,  as like most irradiated creatures they are healed by radiation.  favored  by  ghoul riders for the warm fuzzy  feeling they give, a human rider would  become sick and unable to ride for long.

3. Albino.

this colour variation  is  rare to  see as  they are steeds that have lost all pigmentation due to radiation. a beautiful  colour for this steed but often stands  out against the bland colours of the environment  it lives  in. making it easy to spot at a distance.
