OMG what just happened is definitely a nightmare. Being contractors we are lucky enough to have people who have worked on homes that we can call even on the weekend & in less than an hour they are here (thatâs such a blessing) however despite that fortunate bit that doesnât mean they have the replacement parts to fix the AC unit when itâs actually broken as the status is right now. We have to wait until Monday at the earliest to see what can be done & replaced. Bringing me to the fact that having an empty pool also doesnât help when itâs just half way fixed & painted as we do yearly so no going in to cool off. (Any ideas of how to stay cool when you are in bed with fatigue, weakness from surgery & autoimmune conditions that you donât have the energy to go to the mall to be cool etc because I would in a heart beat to not even have a problem but thatâs so much work & exhausted by the time getting there let alone having to be out for hours around people who could or probably are sick opening me up to germs that can make me even more sick. Yes itâs very complicated to have to think of so much but thatâs life for me & I am used to it) Lastly if Sacramento was so HOT it wouldnât even be a problem having no air conditioning or pool filled. Itâs just worse when you are recovering from back surgery again & on medication that has side effects & being hot is extremely dangerous for me on the medications from surgery, having sweats & hot flashes already I feel that I could possibly pass out if the inside of the house gets hotter if I do have an incident. (Gary @mmdevelopmentconsulting said he is going to Loweâs to buy 2nor 3 portable AC units to get us through. That is great news to hear out of this) I still am being positive that a couple days isnât that long & with a portable AC in my room wonât complain about a thing and I really hope Meyers can fix it on Monday. Just wish the weather would cool down. #waytoohot #sacramentoheatwave #ACdown #needcoldair #ihatethehotweather #coldisbetter (at Citrus Heights, California)
