(yeah, very early 😱)

As the sky was lighting up this morning I just loved the way the light was skipping across the snow pack. This is one of the coldest mornings here so far this winter season.

I have a very small supply of firewood remaining out in the garage and I think that this is one of the days I was saving it for. I want to build a fire in the wood stove but it’s too cold to go outside to get the wood. 😂 How cold? Look 😳 👇

This is about -15 Celsius if that sounds warmer.

No plans for me today and no shopping needed. I got leftovers for tonight. I made a batch of sweet and hot beanie weenies yesterday and I will enjoy them again tonight.

I know my Canadian friends 🇨🇦 are probably this cold, or colder. I’m thinking about you guys.

Temperature right now is 10F degrees (-12C) and I had a couple errands to run but I think I will wait for things to warm up. What the heck, I am retired so what’s the hurry. 😂

These first few cold days of a new winter always feel colder than the same days in February, right? It’s at 21F degrees (-6C) right now.

I took this shot as I was on my way out to the garage. I am working on a mini perforated canister. I will use this to hold a small batch of smoking pellets for generating 30 minutes of smoke only. I will be making some smoked candied pecans to take to my daughter’s house at Christmas time. I hope they turn out good, as I won’t be able to eat any due to allergies now. Last time I did this they were awesome though. 😋

Today is Thanksgiving day here in the USA, and not all is great but I still have some things to be thankful for. Like this 👇

That’s right, the pumpkin pie that I posted about yesterday. Bill is eating good on this holiday. Got smoked ribs yet for dinner. 😋

The sun finally came out from behind the cloud bank. I hope it brings some warmth today.

It is only 41F degrees out there (5C). It’s cold no matter which number you use.

I didn’t sleep too good last night but overall I feel good enough to try to get some gym time in today.
