Cafe # 9 for 2017: Front Coffee House (formerly known as Duke’s Coffee Place), The Grand Towers, Pablo Ocampo St., Malate, Manila

I just want to let you know that I skipped my class just to watch WFKBJ and drink coffee at a Korean coffee shop!!! Mygod. But please, don’t judge me, I got a final grade 4.0 (which is our highest) on the subject I skipped :P Anyway, I don’t know what happened but WFKBJ really got me addicted to KDrama again. I just don’t want to attend the class because watching the series would left me hanging. So this happened lol. Anyway, I haven’t tried their food yet but I ordered Iced Mocha when I went here. The coffee was good enough for its serving and price but it took them too long to serve it. There was only one staff doing all the work but I like her because she’s still nice despite having to do everything. The place was cozy and quiet. A safe place to do school stuff and the like.

High school catch up + Korean stuff

Cafe # 6 for 2017: Cafe Cinaburo, SM Southmall, Las Pinas City

I went here with my high school friends to catch up with our bff who came home to the Philippines (from NZ). She is a fan of Korean stuff and so are my other friends so we went here. I am not YET a fan of Korea when we went here so I might come back hehe. This cutesy place is located beside Buku-buku Kafe.  I had their mocha which was good. The serving was also big enough for the price. My friends had their oreo and blueberry bingsu. I was also able to taste it and it was really fine! They also told me that the cheesecake beside blueberry bingsu was good. The ambiance was cozy and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. Big thanks to the owner who gave us free fish-shaped bread with fillings (chocolate) inside. *finger hearts*

Cafe # 10 for 2017: Gowens Coffee, The Pacific Regency, Pablo Ocampo St., Malate, Manila

I was in need of a good alone time and coffee break, but I can’t go far and decided to try this coffee place near my school. I haven’t tried their food yet. I only ordered a cup of hot mocha when I decided to go here. The place was really small because they don’t open their place upstairs. The staff was nice enough. Their coffee almost tastes like a hot chocolate. You thought it was nothing but after an hour of consuming it, it is when the effect kicked in. I was palpitating and I only palpitate when the coffee was strong so maybe Gowens’ coffee was silent yet deadly. Could be a perfect drink for all-nighters like me!

Study place part two

Cafe # 5 for 2017: Caffe Pascucci, Glorietta 2, Makati City

It was the same day as I went to Where’s Marcel when I first landed my feet here. I always see this place when I’m walking around the Holiday-Inn part. For me, this cafe is one of the coziest places to stay when you’re waiting for someone, when you want to rest after shopping or when you want to finish your schoolwork around Glorietta/Greenbelt/SM Makati/Landmark area. I had their mocha which was delicious and just right for my taste. Their brownie, however, tastes like more of a panna cotta to me. It was not too sweet so it was a good partner for my mocha. I wasn’t still able to finish it, though. The staff was also friendly enough. The place was a bit small but has its own comfort room. It was just really a bit pricey for the serving.

Catch up!

Cafe # 7 for 2017: Khafra Cafe, Molino Road, Bacoor Cavite

I went to this place with my high school friend to have some catch up moments. The place is kinda small but clean. The food they offer does not look fresh by just looking at it but you should still give it a try as we should not judge a book by its cover. I only had their iced coffee which was just fine. I still recommend this place to students or employees who want to do their work because the ambiance was cozy and peaceful. It is also a safe place to catch up with friends or wait for your friends.

Waiting game

Cafe # 2 for 2017: The Curator Coffee and Cocktail,  Corner Don Palanca Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City

I had to wait for my doctor at Makati Med for about three to four hours so I decided to visit this coffee shop first. This is my favorite 2017 coffee shop so far. Well I only have three, as of now. I will post the other one soon. I had their espresso + milk and it was really good. The coffee was strong enough and blends well with the milk. I actually asked them if they have mocha, unfortunately they don’t have chocolate. Good thing the staff asked me if I want to have some chocolate powder on top instead and I instantly said yes. I also had their croissant. I initially want their dough dealer cookie. Nope. They don’t have. How about Skinny Monkey Muffin? None again. (That’s why I gave 4.0 only even though I love it here) And so..I had to take their croissant. I asked the staff if it was chocolate or plain. She told it’s plain but she asked me if I wanted to try it with honey and lemon zest. I said yes because that sounds new to me and viola! I loved it. I’m actually craving for it every night. Their croissant was also soft enough! Croissants are known for their /maganit/ texture but their croissant was soft and tender. The ambiance was also pleasant. I can stay there all day. I’m definitely coming back ❤

Coffee Shop ☕ : Domum Café

Location 🚩: Building infront of the old Robinsons Supermarket in Manggahan General Trias Cavite, Philippines

Okay so, I have tried Domum Cafe before but I guess my first time was quite a bad luck because I didn’t liked their frappucinos but then I gave the cafe another shot and instead of ordering some iced blended, I ordered myself a good Iced Cafe Latte and it is by far one of the best Cafe Latte I have tasted, the sweetness is perfect, the way the milk and coffee blends together is just so good that I had two cups of it that night. They serve variety kinds of finger food such as french fries and nachos, they also serve plated ones such as Tapsilog and Tocilog. As well as a few desserts such as Cheesecakes, Waffles, and some Breads. This cafe also allows you to play with different kinds of games and the most popular would be Jenga. All in all it is a good place to stay with your friends if you’re up for a nice cup of Cafe Latte and good company.

Coffee Shop ☕ : COFFEE PROJECT Location 🚩: Building infront of Golden Bay Restaurant in Diosdado Macapagal, Pasay City Philippines.

Okay so, I have tried Coffee Project but not every single thing on the menu because I always go for an Iced Chocolate and to be honest it was one of the best I have tasted (but nothing beats my Swiss Miss every morning) until then I decided to go for a change and ordered an Iced Cafe Latte. It wasn’t the best Cafe Latte but it got some kick to it, tho I personally think it is too bitter for me but its fine although I personally think that Cafe Latte’s should be creamier and milkier in taste but this one is kinda lacking in sugar but then to balance it out, I ordered myself this gorgeous Double Chocolate Crinkles, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this especially if you have a soft side for sweets. The crunch and crisp of the crinkles and the creamy ganash-feel filling is so complimenting to each other. It is a nice way to balance the drink.
