Talor Browne is the co-founder, head roaster and green buyer at Talor&Jørgen in Oslo. She will be presenting her findings from research undertaken in August, looking into the way that Cropster can be used to map flavour whilst creating profiles. Attendees will sample one coffee roasted six different ways on four leading roaster models and dig into the crowdsourced flavour data.
Prof. Chahan Yeretzian is Head of the Center for Coffee Competence and the Section for Analytical Technologies at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. He is on the Board of Directors of the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) where he heads the Research Committee and on the Board of the Association for Science and Information on Coffee (ASIC). Professor Chahan will present on research on coffee roasting including profile roasting, blending before and after roasting and on the degassing of freshly roasted coffee.
