my experience stay in 📍cambridge hotel, medan

i’ve stayed 2 nights with different room setup. the second time it was bigger suite with this beautiful city view (love love it sm). it was raining from afternoon too so i really like the vibes there. for all facilities they provided with very good quality. anddd they served complete menu for breakfast even lontong medan which i really like🥰

6. mula cafe (📍jl tengku amir hamzah no. 8) salted egg curry chicken 45k, aglio prawn 45k, dubai pistachio brownies bar (literal heaven)

7. nuurihanok korean cafe & cakes (📍jl h.misbah no. 20) korean bbq chicken banchan set 99k funny story i was soo full when we arrived and cant order anything. i should've ordered their butter 떡🥲 every corner of this place is aesthetic and i really recommend their foods

8. hibiki japanese bowl & coffee (📍jl multatuli blok-ff no. 24) creamy chicken rose pasta 65k, us beef yakiniku 68k. honestly, the rose pasta is kinda underwhelming...it tasted salty 9. sultongue - dessert cafe eggtart tiramisu icecream (📍jl komp multatuli) petite pistachio tiramisu 37k. recommended!! there are lots of cafe in this area maybe next time we'll explore more

10. sushi hiro (📍sun plaza lt. lg) time for sum sushiii: aburi salmon mentai sushi 36k, kani tempura inari 45k, lobster salad maki 65k

11. merchants lane (📍jl perniagaan baru no. 17) gula melaka butter toast 22k, signature salted kopi hot 25k, penang CKT 35k the place is real hidden gem bc we enter from small lane and the walls filled with gorgeous illustrations about life. it’s very refreshing to still find traditional art these days. we were waitlisted and was waiting for like an hour and it was worth it. it reminds me of lorong panggung at kl near ho kow kopitiam

1. nelayan cafe resto (📍sun plaza lt. 2) 🍴: lumpia udang salad 36k, leng hong kien 38k, siau mai .. i forgot, xiao long bao ayam 45k, bc feeling extra hungry that day from the flight i ordered nasi ayam cabe hijau😅 55k they specialized for dimsum & asian cuisine and well-known as "the restaurant you go to once you arrived at mdn"

2. babura dimsum (📍jl babura lama no. 12) 🍴: congfen beetroot crispy udang 47k, lemongrass juice 23k, peach gum 31.5k, anchan butterfly juice 23k it was raining heavy when we got there. there were lotsss that did not make it in frame haha. i really recommend their leng hong kien! they made the lemon sauce perfectly

3. alligator roastery (📍jl kenanga no. 17) 🍴: dirty pistachio latte 50k, matcha espresso 40k, matcha oat latte 42k, salt bread 15k, burnt cheesecake 45k this was the second time i went. LOVE the cheesecake. the matcha espresso, not so much😬 they're famous for butterscotch cream latte. i ordered that before and indeed deliciouss good vibes there and they just opened new branch in sun plaza todayy

4. tous les jours (📍delipark mall) grabbed cream bomb bun 20k for a quick snack bc i was cafe hopping and waiting for friend. i changed it to strawberry fillings, tasted heavenly bc served cold. anddd off topic there was big bad wolf event that day and it's always a good sign to see ms taylor

5. the coffee crowd (📍delipark mall) ordered their signature mie hotplate seafood singapore 39k🤤 served steaming hot. def worth the hype they got MANY other dishes that i still want to try. the place is very fancy and got many interesting details. and as the name suggests it was very crowdy
