Nicholas Dyer was born New York City on October 19th and is the oldest and best looking out of 4 siblings.

There is nothing complicated about Nicholas life really. He comes from a wealthy, hardworking and very loving family, but that doesn’t mean that the Dyer’s offsprings didn’t know anything about hard work. Their father always made sure to let them know that everything they had, they had it because he never slacked off, he worked hard to achieve his goals and the life he wanted for his family. In fact you could always find him telling his oldest son “Without labor nothing prospers, son.”

He took that phrase pretty seriously. As a child he put a lot of pressure on his shoulders to be the perfect son. He wanted, no he had to succeed at everything he did to show his father that he too understood the meaning of hard work and make his parents proud. He was a sort of parent pleaser. 

And so his need and desire to make them proud went beyond just getting good grades. Soon it also involved more important decisions like his career choice or his relationships, what he said or even how he felt sometimes. It felt to him like like he was losing himself, or more like he never truly got to find out who he was and what he wanted.

It was around college when Nicholas chose that it was enough of living a life he didn't plan for himself, that he had to start doing started more of the things he liked and to start making bigger decisions for himself, like moving out of his parents house and finding an apartment. Amongst those things there was boxing.  Of course, at first his parents, specially his mother, wasn't very keen on the idea of his son getting beat up and having a black eye or bruised face. “Why would want to do this to your face? You have such a beautiful face.” Those were the words that his mother told him every time  he visited their house for the weekend. It didn’t bother him, it actually made him laugh that out of all the compliments in the world she could give him, it would have to be about his looks. But then again, any other mother would’ve said the same thing. What kind of mother would want to see their son’s face with a black eye or some bruises just because he thought it was a fun sport.

Another decision that made an impact on Nicholas life was moving to London. He went to study the last semester of his career as an exchange study at Cambridge. There he felt like he was able to truly show himself, no parents  breathing at the back of his neck, judging, disapproving all the choices he made. London felt like big breath of fresh air. He graduated college there and began working at an architecture firm. Of course he started very low, but thanks to his hardworking perfectionist side he managed to climb on a very short time to a higher position. 

He lived in London for around 4-5 years until a famous architecture firm offered him a job back in New York. It was hard decision to make but the fact that he experienced his first heartbreak and that he sort of missed his family helped decide that it was the best thing to do, at least for a while.

Siblings: Of course I’d love to see Nicholas siblings around the rp. Even if at the moment his relationship with his parents isn't the way it used to b before I picture the Dyer’s kids pretty close. Like they probably they do have fights and probably get on each others nerves sometimes like every other sibling but at the end of the day they know they have each others back and also complain about their parents when they get really unbearable.

Highschool sweetheart: I would love for Nicholas to have some romantic connection from the past when dated someone his parents thought would be a good match for them just to please them. Of course he probably would’ve been very polite and a gentleman with her but he never got to feel any romantic feelings towards her. Of course how she felt towards him its totally up to you, she could’ve done it also to please their parents or maybe she did had some feelings towards him, its totally up to you. I just want some angst in mah baby’s life, the more the better.

Best friend(s): It could be someone he met in his childhood or someone he met in college. Of course I want someone who has been through Nicholas whole change from being the perfect little son to slowly becoming himself. They are his ride or die, and probably have always had his back and probably are someone Nicholas turns to whenever he needs to seek advice from someone who isn't his family for a change. Also they would be the ones who Nicholas went to cry to when he got his heartbroken back in London.

Fling to (best) friend: Okay so maybe they met through some mutual friends and at first sight they were like “you’re cute, let’s go out.” Probably had one or two dates, ( maybe even hooked up) and after that they got along really well but neither of them saw it becoming something more so  both agreed that it wasn’t going to work out and decided to stay friends. And eventually they became besties and make jokes and tease each other about when they went out.

Theo’s household wasn’t the best as he grew up. His parents always fought and often neglected him. They’d yell, forget to cook dinner or even grocery shop - leaving next to nothing in the house to eat. They’d constantly forget to pick him up from school or even forget to bring him to school. 

Things like this went on for as long as he could remember. Because of this, Theodore found ways to make sure he stayed away from his house as much as possible. He’d hang out at friends houses, hang out on the streets, picking fights over this and that... he even took up sports (i.e: basketball, football, soccer, etc.) as much as he could. At first, he was only playing to keep himself busy, but he soon fell in love with football. 

In his freshman year of high school, his coaches knew something was up when Theo began to sleep overnight at the school. He’d find an office or a corner in the library to sleep. It was his coaches that notified CPS and got him finally away from his parents. His football coach (George) went as far as to adopt him - becoming even more of a mentor to him. 

It took Theo a bit to adjust to his new life, but he’d be forever grateful. He used this as a chance to start over. He kept up with sports and even started doing better academically; he managed to finish high school with a 3.6 GPA. 

For college, he went on to pursue a degree in history. Despite doing well in his classes, history was really the only subject that interested him. He didn’t play football in college, but he did help out as an assistant coach with his high school. After graduating, he took a job with his high school to teach history as well as continue to be an assistant coach with football and soccer. He felt at home with his school, considering it was where he was able to turn his life around.

Seven years ago, he took over coaching the football team full time as George retired, becoming the head coach. About two years ago, Theo followed in George’s footsteps and took in two of his players who weren’t in the best situations (Tyler and Owen). He adopted them and have helped them get their lives turned around, too. It was the best decision he could’ve made.

Career:

Born and raised in England. William developed an in interest for filmmaking from a young age and never really had an alternative for directing films . 

You could say that his love for filmmaking started thanks to Miss Rivers, a broadway and film enthusiast who loved to put on play every chance she had. And c’mon what child doesn't like to participate in a play? To put on a costume and pretend to be someone else? It was like a game for them. But for Will acting and putting on costumes wasn’t his favorite part, his favorite part was watch Miss Rivers direct and produce the whole thing. It was the making of the play, the behind the scenes that really intrigued him. Of course eventually, as the years passed he stopped acting at the plays and became his teacher’s assistant.

At this time William was filming everything he could, the school plays, his mother cooking, his father working, his siblings playing. He made his first film at the age of ten, an adaptation of one of his favorites books.

Through his whole teenage years everyone thought that William would’ve majored in something like arts, something related to filmmaking, but no. Everyone was surprised when he told his family and friends that he wanted to study English Literature. The reason he chose to study that its because he felt that studying something unrelated would give him a different take on things.

While attending college William started working as script reader, camera operator and even production assistant in television, films and music videos.For years he worked on his own short films but it was during around of his career he had made little or no success getting his projects of the ground.

In 2000, he met with a friend from college and together released their first feature, he directed, photographed and edited the film while his friend wrote the script. They didn’t have any expectations but finally William could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Their film won several awards during its festival run and was well received by critics. Thanks to the film’s success William afforded to make another one, which became his breakthrough. 

After his breakthrough fellow directors and screenwriters recruited him for more projects, and slowly he started to gain more international recognition and transitioned from independent to studio filmmaking and gained further critical and commercial success with his new films.

Personal life:

So like I mentioned before, he is from England. Born in a high-middle class family. He is the second of three children. I picture his family very tight knit, very loving and supportive of everyones dreams.

He used to be married, he’s been divorced for 7 years now. He met his wife during college and even though they are no longer married, he still considers her to this day the love of his life. They met when he was 22 and majoring in English Literature through some mutual friends. You could say that it was love at first sight, or at least just in William’s case. Whenever he talks about how they met he always says that from the moment he saw her he knew that she was the one, that he had met his future wife. They dated around a year before William finally had the courage to pop the question and asked her to be his wife. Their marriage lasted 20 beautiful years and gave birth to 2 beautiful and healthy children. 

For many years everything seem to be working out for William, he had a beautiful family and he was finally gaining recognition. Unfortunately what goes up  eventually must come down. While he started to gain more international recognition it required him to travel a lot and leave his family behind every time he was working on a new project. For a few years they tried to make things work out between them, and even bought a house in NYC thinking that it would solve their problems, boy was he mistaken. For a brief moment it seemed that things were going to even living under the same roof there was a distance between him and his wife, things just weren't what they used to be. So after a few months of living together in New York they both of them decided that the best thing would be to get a divorce. For their sake and the sake of their children. 

So now he’s been divorced for almost 7 years, of course he’s dated and has had a few girlfriends but noting ever too serious.

Career wise he is very professional, dedicated and pretty much a perfectionist. 

He is just the sweetest and silliest person you could ever meet.

Dean grew up in San Antario, Texas as the eldest child of Max and Florence Riley. They were quite a traditional couple, with traditional ideas on roles and family positions and values. As the eldest, and a boy, Dean was quite quickly shown how to act to be a man. He was taught about cars, how to fix them, taught handy work around the house, they made sure he did well in school, and taught him that he should grow up and be the bread winner for his wife and children.

When he was nine years old his parents had a set of twins, and while they never ignored him necessarily it definitely pulled some of the pressure and attention off of Dean. By the time he was in highschool he had already been playing ice hockey and got himself into the varsity team his junior year. He realised that his parents may have pushed for it but he really liked math and found an oddly comforting feeling in doing math and calculations where he knew there was an answer for each solution not open to interpretation.

Dean ended up being accepted into NYU on an academic scholarship and graduated with a bachelor of finance. While living in New York he kept playing hockey. Joining a team in a recreational league, and after his degree found a job with a company that let him intern as a stock broker. Stock broking wasn’t what he thought he would be as a kid, always assuming he’d be more of an accountant or bookkeeper, but he found that he loved the job and stayed with the company.

While he had been away he always made it a point to go back and see his family whenever he could. Spending time with both his younger brother and sister. He saw the way his parents treated them and while it never made him feel less towards Paris it did make him take a little more interest in their brother. And make sure he knew that if he needed someone Dean was there for him.

born in santa clara, cuba to an high school student who couldn’t handle the responsibility of motherhood, lucía lived in an orphanage for girls for a few years of her life, very early years. she doesn’t remember it much, if at all, but she has some pictures of herself as a baby with some of the nuns.

INFERTILITY TW. she was adopted by an affluent mexican family when she was two, after they struggled with infertility for most of their marriage. desperate for children, the couple outsourced. to their surprise, however, not too long after they adopted lucía, their own daughter, natalia, would be born.

lucía and natalia were as close as close could get: they had the same friends, the same activities, mostly the same interests... apart from being sisters, they were best friends. although they weren’t blood related, they were always treated as if they were.

always a smart girl, lucía, now known as lucy, got into high school a year ahead of where she was supposed to be, and she met alex warren along the way. they had a strong connection from the very beginning, and although her conservative parents didn’t necessarily approve of her choice, lucy and alex became a couple.

still heartbroken, lucy found her sister’s relationship with aristóteles pineda to be infuriating: both from her parents’ influential opinions and her own jealousy from her failing relationship. watching her sister being so in love with someone her family hated was familiar, but instead of supporting nat like she had done with her, she sided with her parents’ — to appease them, since they were surprisingly angry about her engagement not working out — and thus her relationship with her sister started to crumble.

DEATH TW. she kept her distance from pretty much everyone: she didn’t make any appearances back in california when her niece was born, and to this day, lucy regrets it with all her heart. she never really spoke to nat again: she was taken from them way too soon in a tragic car accident, that managed to only kill nat. aristóteles and the child survived.

broken with grief she just didn’t know how to process, she yet again joined her parents’ in their accusations towards the young man, blaming him for the death of their daughter. lucy even went out of her way to make sure she told him how much he was despised by the entire family, how she never wanted to hear of or see him again.

things like these will harden up anyone. lucy placed her focus entirely on her job, working in some legal firms as a paralegal until she made it to the d.a.’s office, scoring a job as an assistant d.a. but as years went by, she realized how nobody in her family seemed to talk about nat’s death, even though they all remained in california and the events would be painful, no matter how much time passed — right? but nobody did. 

with a heavy heart and a bruised ego, lucy has recently learned about ari’s whereabouts in the city, and has made it her new mission to apologize for how she treated him and reconnect with bella, her niece, as she is the only piece of her sister she will ever have left.

headcanons —

lucy has tried to channel her negative energy since losing her sister into self-defense. she’s proficient in krav maga and kickboxing!

afterwards, realizing aggression wasn’t the best way for her to go about things (although self-defense has proven to be useful in the city and in the courtrooms), lucy found a healthier way for her to let out her energy: dancing. nothing fancy, she attends zumba classes and loves throwing it back on the weekends lmao
