Hey! I loved the new chapter - it was really fun meeting Belladonna and more Gabriel scenes. I was just wondering if there would ever be an option to state you're asexual or have a different scene for the aphrodisiac, since it's a bit strange to read about an asexual MC being lustful towards any character. That's not to say you have to write something different or anything though, since I love this WIP and will be supporting it all the same! <3
In an effort of full transparency, I hadn't even thought about this. It is one of those things that in all my excitement for everything else, I think I just kind of didn't consider it. Which, that's my fault entirely. I want to address it, but it might take a bit. I had promised myself I would not go back in to the previous chapters and tweak too much for quite some time, and instead focus on forward momentum. I can of course add this option to the final product, but going back and doing a major code rehaul wasn't something I was planning yet. The first two chapters and intro alone are close to 200,000 words and would take me quite some time to code in a new option.
But I do have a kind of band aid solution if thats okay? On the next chapter, I can put a small page at the beginning that gives you the option to click that. It won't code anything in the last two chapters or the intro, but it would code everything from that point forward. That way I can code out arousal when it comes up if that makes sense? Then, when I do go back, I can absolutely add that code to the first two chapters along with the other things I plan to add and code in.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, anon. Like I have stated a few times before, I never have an intention to isolate anyone and want to give representation. I think I just don't always think of everything at once.
Side note: When I do go back over everything, there will be a trans option as well.
