With konig you can see I had two ideas in mind. Long, and square. I ended up mashing the bits I liked most together while aiming for a lengthier face. Also,,, I love a man with a hooked nose. Or any strong arch. It also doesnt matter how old he is, he greys, he wrinkles. He ages like fine wine though, strong and noticeable but still good. Not a lot of smile lines, but more focused around the eyes because he squints and glares.

With Horangi, I liked the idea of tiger stripe scars but I also didnt want to go all out, I wanted to stick with a bit of animation design principles. No super huge details... the gear is a pain in the ass enough. I took obvious (I hope) inspo from his voice actor because I just like the guys face. Hongjin doesnt wrinkle too much, but where he does its his eyebrow quirk and occasional smirk. Hes stuck with a permanent 'im judging you' face.
