learning cn has me constantly getting humbled, saw a character and was like OH YEAH I KNOW THAT ONE!!!! I didn't. I was mixing up 活 with 话.

because I didn't have cn lessons for two weeks I immediately forgot everything (I need to figure out how to study better) and my teacher was trying to explain the difference between 不[x]下去 vs. [x]不下去 where the former is stopping a previously continuous action and the latter is being unable to continue an action and I was getting tripped up until I realized 'oooohhh like 活不下去‘ and my teacher was like 'yes. wait, what?' it's because I learned only the most important phrases from mom.
