Discipleship
Discipleship is the foundation for missional communities. Discipleship is not an option, it is a commandment! It is inviting people who are faithful, available and teachable to live alongside you and to walk together in encouragement, through successes and failures. It is a lifestyle that must develop from a true understanding of the Gospel. How little do I understand the Gospel.
You found me
One of my biggest fears has been loving or liking someone more than they like or love me. Unrequited love is painful. I've been there before and have never wanted to be in that position again. And as selfish as it is, I've been looking for someone who loves me more than I love him. But now I'm reminded and I realize it's been You all along. Jesus loves me so much more than I could ever love him, yet He loves me anyway. He doesn't love to be loved in return, he simply loves. There are no conditions and there is nothing I can do to deserve it. How easy it is to forget.

Weekend Top Ten #69
Top Ten Highlights of CMC 2013
I was fortunate enough to attend this year's Children's Media Conference in Sheffield last week. Â It's a fab event, a gathering of like-minded creative types, who all want to make great content for kids. Â This year - whether it was chance, a change in the air for the industry, or the fact it was CMC's 10th birthday - was more inspiring than usual, and maybe the best I've been to. Â Here are my highlights.
Jeff "Swampy" Marsh's creative keynote, explaining how they created Phineas and Ferb - as inspiring an event as you're likely to see.
The BAFTA Comedy Masterclass with the Horrible Histories team.
CITV's "Meet the Commissioners" presentation - very impressive, and better than our competitors' efforts, even if I do say so myself.
Frank Cottrell Boyce's opening keynote, filled with humour and anecdote.
A kids' panel declaring that they "were the generation that invented fans" and stating of Modern Warfare, "It was the first time you could play online with your friends!" Â Ah, to be young again...
Reminiscing about Round the Twist in the Prix Jeunesse session.
Our scheduler, Matt Bowen, having his tweets about gluten-free breakfast broadcast to the whole conference.
The amazing Peppa Pig family on top of the CMC 10th birthday cake.
The fact that, really, there wasn't a single duff panel or session that I attended, and that the conference as a whole was really uplifting and inspiring.
Bailing out of the party early only to end up in a casino with Yvette Kirtley till two in the morning.
