Kaito is a quiet guy at school. He keeps to himself mostly, preferring the company of his guitar over actual people. On the stairs after school, that's where he usually plays. In this solitary world, nothing else matters to him.
But recently, he's been playing love songs. A lot more than he usually would. And recently, there's been a girl on his mind, someone who shines like the sun.
She, on the other hand, is the complete opposite of the blue-haired nerd. When she enters a room, it's as if she commands your attention. There's just no other way of saying it, really. Everything she does seem to attract attention and praise.
But if there was one thing Rin didn't seem to like, it was that loser.
What was his name again? Kaito, was it?
He's always so quiet, so awkward. Whenever Rin tries talking to him, he always freezes up and acts all weird. It was so rude, Rin thought! Even after all that effort gone to make herself look nice and friendly, he always seems to brush it off without a second thought! Hmph! What a jerk!
It seemed as if the two were like oil and water, unable to ever get along, or get closer. It wasn't until one day, when Rin was roaming the school halls out of boredom. She was in one of those moods, where she didn't feel like talking to anybody. Really, she just wanted to be alone. Those restless steps suddenly became guided by a melancholic melody that drifted distantly through the halls.
It sounded so nice, Rin thought. The closer she got, the clearer the sounds became, of guitar strings being plucked in such a tender way, it felt like her very heart was being swayed to its core!
Finally, she reached her destination. She stood in front of the music room, listening in to the source of the sound. The door was slightly ajar, giving her the chance to peek in and see just who was playing so beautifully..!
