It wasn’t the worst place to be tossed into with no warning, but it was disorienting. Kibougahana had been a key choice in ending a drawn-out conflict. As tolerable as the given apartment might be, it was clearly more of a punishment than a gift. His only guess was that the Precure managed to find a new power to isolate him somewhere else, but it still felt far from the truth. As far as he knew, none of them had recognized him enough to sound an alarm.
To avoid drawing attention to himself, he left the apartment building near the start of the night on foot, pace matching the chatty passersby. As they looked for the right party or bar to go to, he observed the almost unbelievably different architecture. He could only imagine how bright the white streets looked in the sunlight --- his eyes already ached. Someone that already carried a pungent scent of alcohol briefly stopped him to compliment his “weird lizard”, but peacefully left after being given a gentle smile and a thank you.
Unsatisfied no matter how much time the walk absorbed, he wound up fairly far from the apartment building before pausing to settle his attention on someone. Leaning a shoulder against the outside of a closed bistro, he watched as a man swiftly separated two others at each other’s throats. The man ended the fight in an instant.
As soon as the others stumbled away, Dune stepped out into the narrow street properly again to congratulate him. “I wonder if you saved someone’s life tonight. You’re a great peacekeeper.” The bright smile on his face was well-lit even along this winding path.
“Is it usually like this here? Maybe I should have stayed inside.”
