Sorry that Tumblr ate your first ask, this site sucks sometimes! But thank you so much for requesting, I love Cloud (and I’m excited for the remake!) :D

Cloud Strife:

You were hanging out at his place, maybe trying to watch a movie

Overall, you wanted to be with him even if doing something silly

Cloud was okay with staying at his home and doing something

You went to the bathroom real quick first, though

When you were done, you realized how cold you really were

He might be unfazed by the cold, but you were freezing

Quickly going to his room, you borrowed one of his sweaters

You put it on, being relieved by its cozy warmth, and returned to him

“Hey, Cloud” You started saying, hoping he wouldn’t mind. “Is it okay if I-?”

You interrupted yourself before you could ask, startled by him

As soon as you reunited with him, his eyes grew wide and he stared

“What? Did I… I was just cold and I thought I could borrow-”

“I-It’s okay…” He averts his eyes, clearing his throat too. “You can wear it”

“Are you sure?” You squeezed his arm, which made him frown.

“Yeah” “I probably look pretty silly in it, don’t I?” 

His eyes cautiously returned to you, and a bush formed on his cheeks

“No, you look good” Is all he said, nervously walking away

He then started mumbling about which movie you could watch

You looked down to yourself to see what flustered him so much

The sweater was big on you, since he was taller and a bit slimmer

One side of the neck slid down your shoulder, it being too wide for you

The sleeves reached out to your knuckles in an adorable way

You smiled to yourself, glad that it didn’t bother him that you wore it

In fact, he seemed to love the fact that you were wearing his clothes

Cloud Strife:

Whether it is fixing his bike, updating it or cleaning it

You’re always up to spend some more time with Cloud

And he doesn’t seem to mind at all either

In fact, he’s internally excited to have you so close

When he’s working on the bike, you hand him stuff

Whatever he needs, a wrench or anything

Sometimes you goof around with him, though

Say, for example, he asks you for a particular wrench

After helping him so much, you differentiate them now

But you deliberately hand him the wrong one

“No, that one” He motions for the correct one

“This one?” And you insist on another

So Cloud, completely oblivious to your ruse, stands up and gets it

Only to realize it’s not there anymore and that you have it

You were hiding it behind your back and giving him a cheeky smile

And you playfully refuse to give it to him

A part of him is annoyed, but he also finds it very cute

So he almost smiles at your goofiness

His response is different, though, he deadpans as usual

Giving you the smallest of smiles (that he doesn’t notice)

And silently holding his hand up so you give it to him

That’s basically how it goes all the time

Also chatting and learning about mechanics, he teaches you

If it’s washing the bike, it gets wild because you test his patience

Knowing it doesn’t actually bother him, you target him with the hose

It basically becomes a one-sided water war as you try to get him in it

In the end, when Cloud is already soaked, he would look at you

You don’t know what he’ll do next, but he just calmly walks up to you

And takes the hose from you, staring blankly at you while he does

Then he points the hose at you and you jump up in anticipation

It was an empty threat, you see, because he didn’t plan on soaking you

But he accidentaly does anyway and his face is priceless because of it

After that, Cloud apologizes multiple times for making you wet

You just laugh and say that you soaked him first and he smiles

Cloud Strife:

He will try to avoid any conflict, but his priority is protecting you

Overall, Cloud wants to make sure you feel safe

He’s usually a bit distant and quiet, but he’s not going to let that happen

First of all, he would stand between you and that person

Then, Cloud would calmly tell them to quit doing that

“You shouldn’t do that, it’s rude, invasive and gross” 

You are surprised to see him say those things, he’s never as blunt

He would also wrap an arm around you to comfort you

His eyes are focused on that other person, but he makes sure you’re close to him

To keep track of where you are and to remind you that he’ll protect you

You’re astonished about this too because he’s never that openly affectionate

If the person is smart enough, they will drop it

If not, Cloud would insist until they apologize

They might even say ‘it was meant to be a compliment’

But Cloud shakes his head ‘that’s not how you compliment someone’

You open your mouth, even if you’re shaken up, to say something

But Cloud utters those same words before you can

“You can’t just bother someone you don’t know like that” 

Then the person would apologize and you’d leave

If not, things might get serious

Whatever the case, Cloud would take care of it

After that, he would make sure that you’re okay

That you feel safe and that you calm down

He’s worried because you seem in shock

But mostly it’s because you hadn’t expected him to be like that

Suddenly, Cloud is very close to you, holding you and speaking a lot

Also, being extremely open and honest and it just puzzles you

But you thank him, saying you’re okay now

Cloud says he did nothing to be thanked for and continues walking

After that, he would also teach you a few things to defend yourself

Just in case, he wants you to be safe at all times

He might not show it often, but that day he definitely did

Cloud cares about you a lot

Poor baby, he wouldn’t really know what to do at first

It’s not your fault that he’s jealous

His insecurities were surfacing, though

Many thoughts passed his mind

Mostly, he was scared you would replace him

He was scared that said guy was better than him

Maybe you deserved better?

He loved being around you, and he loved you

But… he would never hold you back

Cloud still was jealous and wanted to remind you of his existence

He didn’t know how, though

Maybe he shouldn’t do anything, he didn’t want to bother you

But in the end the jealousy took over

He just hated seeing someone else being so close to you

You and Cloud had something special after all

So Cloud walked over to you and softly cleared his throat

You immediately looked over at him, startled

“Y/N, do you… Can you help me with that thing?”

Luckily, you were supposed to help him with something

So he already had an excuse to catch your attention

He spoke very softly, though, almost cohibited

Not quite shyly, but just gently

“Sure!” You responded with a big smile

Fortunately, you said goodbye to that guy and went with Cloud

Even if there was an amused smile on your lips

“You’re still my fave, Cloud, never forget that” 

Of course you had noticed he was jealous, you wanted to comfort him

Cloud didn’t say anything, he just blushed silently

He didn’t deny it, though

And he had a stern expression on his face

Cloud:

Cloud is so protective of you

Almost to the point of overdoing it a little sometimes

He just cares a lot about you and doesn’t want you getting hurt

So he doesn’t let you do anything dangerous

Until you notice he’s surrounded by enemies 

And decide to give him a hand, he won’t notice

He’s too busy fighting to realize you’re getting in on it too

You start slaying enemies left and right no problem

“Cloud, are you okay?” It’s then that he notices

“Y/N, get to safety right n-” And then he sees

You’re still kicking ass while talking to him

He has to focus on the battle and not in you

But when everything’s over he goes over to you

“Are you hurt, Y/N?” He seems so worried still

“I’m fine, not a scratch, and you?” 

He’s not worried about himself so he doesn’t answer

“You can fight…”

“I tried to tell you, but…”

He stares at you, feeling so bad for his behavior

Cloud knows he was overprotective and realizes his mistake

You’re just so small and innocent looking, so precious to him

“I’m sorry, Y/N, I didn’t mean to belittle you, I-”

“I know, I love you too” You both hug/kiss

Everything’s okay between you two

He feels more at ease now and so do you

“Your fighting is great, by the way”

“Thanks, Cloud!”

You might start training together from then on

Zack:

He’s to busy fighting to realize you are too

But suddenly this little spark ignites in his brain

He gets really worried and turns around quickly

“Y/N! Are you-?”

Then he sees you and stares in awe, mouth agape

He takes a moment to watch you fight

You are seriously kicking ass! 

You don’t notice he’s watching until you hear him laugh

He lets out a genuine chuckle of astonishment

“Zack, you saw?” 

He grins widely and walks up to you

“Yeah, I saw! You never told me you were so badass!”

You blush a little, flattered, and nod

“I mean, I’ve always known you’re awesome, but…”

“I didn’t know what you would think about it…”

You’re a bit self-conscious about it

He always thought you were so small, so innocent and candid

But Zack seems delighted with this new discovery

“Are you kidding? I love it, you’re tiny, cute and badass?”

“Stop it…” You’re glad that he likes it but he’s embarrassing you

“What, little Y/N is shy?” 

Of course he teases you about it, though

“Are you gonna kick my ass now?”

It would be so damn cute and fluffy

It is rare that you two get a lazy day

Because you’re both so busy all the time

So you’re especially excited when you get to hang out

When you have a free day you know

You don’t even have to tell Cloud, he knows too

Free day = day of cuddles and laziness

You and Cloud would sit down on the couch first

Cuddling, holding hands and catching up

Talking about things that went on during your week

Playing with each other’s hair as you speak

There would also be a lot of sneaky little kisses here and there

It’s been so long since you had some time to yourselves!

In fact you often get distracted from conversation

And suddenly you’re passionately kissing

Until one of you breaks away and chuckles

“What were we talking about again?” 

And the both of you blush like crazy

Which just makes you chuckle even more

You put your foreheads together for a moment

And then continue talking like nothing happened

You both get pretty shy and embarrassed about it

When you’re done chatting you talk about watching a movie

It takes a bit to agree on which one, though

In the end you end up falling asleep anyway
