70s fashion sewing patterns
Sewing Tumblr I need your help!!
I need to find a pattern similar to this dress (for plus size).
A collection of sewing patterns from this week. Two from a magazine, two spotlight and three from an opshop.
I plan to probably start with the pyjamas or the easy-to-sew jacket. I love the idea of making my own clothes and can’t wait to start. Gotta pick fabric first.
Found these in the attic. Â
I feel like the younger people have never learned about the wonder/horror that was velour.

found this at goodwill over the weekend!! one day if I ever have time I just might get to making this
Someone needs to take away my cards.
Daisy Kingdom Doll! Did anyone else have these? 90′s kids might remember! I had just about every model, I’m pretty sure (I still have most of them). According to the tag on this, they are not a toy and intended for craft use only.Â
In case you didn’t know: the Daisy Kingdom was actually mainly a fabric company / clothing pattern company. I had a ton of Daisy Kingdom dress (made by my grandmother) and these dolls were more or less meant to be cute mannequins to my knowledge. Of course, I was always incredibly careful of my toys so other than a few scuffs-- probably from being packed and moved around over the years-- my Daisy Kingdom dolls are in perfect condition!
Also, this doll was my favorite because she had brown hair and the other two had blonde. Child logic at it’s finest.
