Y’all ever heard about the commandos who went rogue and became pirates??
These are the latest OCs: Chakaar, Outlaw and Kaden. I couldn’t have made them without the help of the wonderful @craziest-in-the-guild! 🥰🥰
This is a big piece, so there’s closeups and more information about these boys below the cut!!
Could you tell us some more about epsilon squad?
I'd love to! I could yap about them all day 🥰
- Epsilon Squad is a commando squad that was trained by Walon Vau. They gained a bit of a reputation of being slightly defective. On one of their first missions after Geonosis, Outlaw, Kaden and Chakaar were trapped in an enclosed space with a thermal detonator, and were presumed dead. This left Bear as the only official survivor and thinking that he'd lost all of his pod brothers.
- Despite not being found by the GAR, Outlaw, Kaden and Chakaar were found by Hondo Ohnaka, who helped heal them of their injuries and took them under his wing to be pirates.
- Bear went to another squad, but unfortunately lost them as well. He finally ended up with Jackal Squad, which consisted of him, Preacher, Akk and Lock, and stayed with them until Order 66.
- Bear (RC-2118) is the sergeant and medic. He's the most obviously defective of the squad; he's larger than the average clone and has terrible eyesight. He wears glasses so the Kaminoans could test visual enhancement technology in helmets. Bear takes his medic duties very seriously, but he doesn't have the best bedside manner. He's known for being a dutiful soldier, but does have a short temper. Bear got his name for being big and hairy.
- Outlaw (RC-2119) is the demolition expert. He's the most laid back of the squad, and adapted to the pirate lifestyle easily once he received implants for his eyes and ears. He took over as the leader when the squad was separated from Bear, and definitely enjoys his new career. Outlaw got his name because he was always a bit of a kleptomaniac.
- Kaden (RC-2120) is the sniper. He's typically the voice of reason, but does have a shorter fuse like his brothers. When Outlaw was blinded and deafened by the explosion and Chakaar was temporarily paralyzed, he managed to get them both to safety while dealing with his own internal injuries. Though he wasn't initially keen on Hondo, he turned out to be just as ruthless of a pirate as his brothers. Kaden got his name because he was always angry with Chakaar.
- Chakaar (RC-2121) is the slicer, and the problem child of Epsilon. His defects are mostly mental; he has severe paranoia, aggression and attachment issues that were only made worse by the explosion. He was slated to be decommissioned twice due to his behavior, but Walon Vau was able to prevent it both times. Chakaar has no qualms with dirty work, and his brothers often have to stop him from going too far. Despite these issues, he loves very deeply and tries to do what's best for his family. Chakaar was named by Kaden, who constantly called him the insult.
- Bear reunited with his brothers during the final year of the war when he was sent on a mission with a Jedi Archivist, Myni Joss. It didn't go smoothly at first, but eventually the brothers found their common ground again. After Order 66, they reunited again for good.
