Why is Prickles name Pricklestripe and not Pricklestar? If there a lore reason?

AAAH YES yep, he's got a slit in the base of his ear from training with Tigerclaw as apprentices! :D Bluestar mentions it when he's made a warrior in Bluestar's Prophecy, but I changed it from a small scar to a missing gap that only grows bigger as he ages because I thought it looked cool lol. You can also see it in Redtail's Choice, but it's quite a bit smaller! ;v;
Is Song a suffix that can be used? I didn't see it on the list and just wanted to double check
-song is not a suffix which can be used in CopseClan, but it can be used in BarrenClan.
