10. do they like children? do children like them? do they have or want any children? what would they be like as a parent? or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?
Kee adores children. He is very shy about it but once he is swarmed by a bunch of tiny fawns, he becomes the sweetest sugarpuff. Kids like him because he gives them treats. He isn’t ready to be a parent just yet, but he would probably be very gentle and doting.
11. do they have any special diet requirements? are they a vegetarian? vegan? have any allergies?
All deerlings are vegetarians soooo yeah no meat for Kee. Or fish. I don’t think he’s allergic to anything??
12. what is their favourite food?
It’s technically not a food, but he loves when someone in the herd goes to human bazaars and brings back chocolate. They make it into something similar to hot cocoa and share it among the herd.
13. what is their least favourite food?
He doesn’t like spicy foods at all. He is weak like me.
14. do they have any specific memories of food/a restaurant/meal?
Each meal in the herd is shared, so they all gather in a big group and talk while they eat, passing food back and forth. They’re all very warm and comfortable, but they all kind of blur together in memory.
15. are they good at cooking? do they enjoy it? what do others think of their cooking?
I imagine he would be good at cooking because he likes making things with his hands. He is very meticulous when making jewelry and carvings, so he would probably take a long time to make a meal but it would be damned delicious.

He carves Kliam a courting flower from his shed antlers every bonding season, but because he is a coward he never presents them to him, and instead he keeps them all safe in a little box in his hut.

Ummmm there aren’t many varieties of books in the forest, but they do keep records of stories that have been passed down through the generations. Mostly they’re shared orally though, so he doesn’t do much reading. That’s usually only for the scribes.

Kee loves music, like every other member of the herd. Folk songs are popular and everyone grows up learning specific group dances, so he joins in from time to time. I imagine it’s very complex and certainly a sight to behold, as everyone moves in sync with each other and manages not to clack their antlers together lol.

Okay, Oliver is literally the protagonist of a distopian society who will eventually end up starting a revolution and fucking the system up. I mean that isn’t entirely true, because there is already a rebellion and he did not start it. But there are plenty of things he can still fuck. Namely Wick. Oliver turned out to be far more thirsty than nobility should be. That isn’t to say that he wasn’t an exemplary prince in all other ways. He has read like 10 million books and of course he possesses only the finest taste in fashion. Even when he is wearing the simplest of clothes, he fuckin rocks them with a confidence that reaches up to the clouds. Speaking of clouds, he enjoyed his little flight experience with Nuada far more than expected, even while Wick’s soul was actively trying to leave his body. Basically Oliver yearns for anything related to freedom. Flying, adventuring, whatever leads him away from aristocratic life and its demands. He has also become somewhat of the mother of their little ragtag group. Nuada is, of course, the rowdy child that needs constant supervision and reminding that one can’t simply bite people who piss him off. Oliver’s time is spent watching out for his new odd lil family, especially making sure that papa Wick heals up nicely. And one day. ONE DAY. He will teach Wick to read if it’s the last thing he ever does.
Also Kee because I don't actually know a lot about him?
I haven’t really fleshed Kee out all that much so this will be an adventure for both of us!
Kee is a precious soot sprite, if soot sprites were six feet tall sans horns. He is an artisan in the herd, and works with Kliam on a daily basis. He specializes in clay-working, and makes a lot of pottery and cute lil decorative things. Also he makes paint from dyes and ends up splattered in it by the end of each day. He is naturally dark in color, but his hands get especially sooty from his work with the kiln and he consequently leaves handprints everywhere and has to clean them up. His big gay crush on Kliam is debilitating and he has a special lil box where he keeps all the bonding flowers he carves for Kliam every courting season. It is his box of shame and he hides it under all the cushions he sleeps on. He probably wouldn’t ever pursue Kliam actively if I didn’t have executive control over the poor deer. It would be inappropriate and rude because of Kliam’s poor experience with mating in the past. Also Kliam favors Eitri far more than Kee, so the little soot puff will keep quiet about his feelings for a while yet. He will settle for carving more flowers and hiding them away, content to daydream about what could be.
