Bothersome Brothers
Words: 976 Pairing: Clint Barton x Asgardian!Reader Other Relationships: Brother!Thor & Brother!Loki Request: âHello. Can I get a Clint Barton imagine where the reader is Thor and Loki's sister and her and Clint start being all 'buddy buddy' and the big bros see where this is going so they have 'the talk' with him and she finds out and scolds her brother's and then goes on a nightly stroll with Clint. I hope that makes sense... Thanksđâ @weirdnewbieÂ
âNo, donât raise your elbow when you draw back.â Clint Barton whispered into your ear. He was strong for a Midgardian and patient. Patient enough to teach Thor and Lokiâs younger sister the art of archery. Asgardianâs werenât exactly known for their patience, and certainly not the Asgardians in your family. Clint brushed his fingers along your arm, stopping just at your elbow. He tilted your elbow down gently so that it was parallel to the ground.
âAlright, now hold that stance and take aim.â You did as he instructed inhaling a breath and aiming the arrowhead at the target several yards away. You released your fingers from the back end of the arrow and it went soaring through the air. The head sunk into the yellow region of the target. It wasnât the center, but it was a vast improvement over your last few attempts.
You clapped Clintâs back in celebration. He took a half-step forward to steady himself from falling over, but smiled up at you. (You were about a foot taller than he.) Your cheeks pinked as you realized you might have over done your strength.
âShall we try again?â You suggested timidly.
Is That My Shirt? - Clint Barton EditionÂ
Clint was basically your hero. His wife Laura had died when their son Nathan was born. Since then, heâd been a single dad doing it all. Thatâs where you came in, because even heroes need help sometimes. Youâd been hired by the eagle-eyed archer to work at his farm and help take care of the kids. It was a pretty easy gig. Lila and Cooper mostly took care of their selves and Nathan was the calmest toddler youâd ever come in contact with. That is until the week all three kids got the flu. You were determined to handle the situation entirely on your own. There was no need to bother Clint, right?
Sure the end of the day found you covered in vomit and absolutely exhausted, but Cooper, Lila and Nathan all seemed to be doing just fine. With the kids down for for the night, you finally seized the quiet moment to take a shower. Only realizing once you stepped out, you had no clean clothes with you. Cursing your rookie mistake, you desperately hoped your employer wouldnât mind you borrowing an outfit from his laundry youâd washed that morning.
You were cleaning up the kidâs toys and generally straightening up when he got home. You heard the front door and your heart began to pound. Any second heâd enter the living room and spot you. As it turned out, you had nothing to fear. Clint leaned against the door frame and smiled.
âFlannel looks good on you,â He winked.
