Last Thursday, one day before my 21st birthday, Mark brought me to Antipolo as an early birthday date. I always wanted to go to Pinto Art Museum because I heard that it’s a great place for art appreciation and IG worthy photos of-course 😜 Little did I know that Pinto Art Museum also had cafes inside it that serves very delicious food, my favorites were the chicken satay and bangus sardines pasta. What I like about the place is that you get to come across different art galleries in the middle of a huge garden. Mark and I weren’t even able to finish looking around the entire place because we only had a few hours to spare since Mark had classes in the afternoon. Definitely going back soon! And also, if you are planning to visit Pinto Art Museum, wear VERY comfortable clothes since the art galleries, even the cafes, aren’t air conditioned. When we went there, I wore thick denim jeans and a bomber jacket because I wasn’t informed that we were supposed to go there #neveragain 😂
When the evening came, I went to the condo to rest early because I had a long day. At around 11:30PM Mark called me and told me to go downstairs, at that moment, I had a gut feel that he was there but my friends showed up instead and surprised me with balloons, cake, letters, and a cat onesie (since they know how much I love cats). At midnight, we went to the nearest convenience store in my condo and ate cake as we chatted about anything we could think of. Such a memorable evening.
For me, there is no other way to spend my birthday than being with the ones I love like my friends, family, and boyfriend. My 21st celebration was indeed a very memorable one and I will forever cherish those memories.
