Can't seem to wind down and I gotta be up at dawn. Shelter's an hour away and I gotta drop off Cletus at 7am.
So I'm in the pantry, digging for my advil pm, and singing to him. π΅ At this time tomorrow, you'll have no balls at all! πΆ Cletus is losing his striped little balls... you get the point.

I wanted to draw him in different outfits
For the last page in my current notebook, I decided I'd draw my favorites of the new characters I drew for the first time in the previous year (or, in the case of Froog, redesigned for the first time since I originally came up with him all the way back in 1992 or so.)
From top to bottom, left to right...
The "Bullshit Detector" Robot -- No actual name for this one currently, but I liked the robot design I drew for a little mini-comic earlier in the year and had been wanting to draw it again so... here it is!
Cletus -- Started out as just a random hillbilly type guy for the Flat Bear mini-comic, who just happened to have a name mentioned in dialogue. Then I ended up (unintentionally) drawing a nearly identical hillbilly guy again for one of my Inktober drawings, and when I realized the similarity I shrugged and went "welp, I guess that's Cletus too." And then I drew him a few more times!
Claureen -- Cletus's wife, who made her first appearance in the Flat Bear comic. Her name sounds like "chlorine" but spelled in a more name-ish way... but I originally came up with it by smashing a few different actual names together (I had thought of "Colleen," "Doreen," and "Laureen" but none of them sounded quiiiite right... so I combined them) and only realized it sounded like "chlorine" afterward. Which, of course, meant I had to use that one! π
Spamily -- Little sister of Spamuel, who I've been drawing for a few years now. Her name came about as a result of a Drawfee video where Karina shortened the title of the anime/manga series Spy X Family to "Spamily"... which I immediately thought sounded like a "Spam + Emily" combination, just like how Spamuel's name is "Spam + Samuel."
Froog -- Of course, I had to include Froog in here! Technically I made him up all the way back when I was 6 or so years old, but I figure I can make an exception due to his November 2025 redesign basically being a whole different character (...who I've almost certainly drawn more of already than I ever drew the old version.)
Buttwipe Bunny -- A goofy prankster bunny that throws toilet paper at people, who I got the idea of drawing last year after referring to the little rabbit mascot on some store-brand toilet paper as "Buttwipe Bunny." There were one or two others I was considering putting in this last spot instead, but the Buttwipe Bunny's facial expressions cracked me up so much that I had to draw them again. π
