This amazing Vegan Chocolate Frosting is not only rich and delicious but also oil-free and sweetened with dates. It's the perfect guilt-free topping for your favorite vegan desserts.
Ingredients: 1 cup soaked and pitted Medjool dates. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/4 cup almond butter. 1/4 cup almond milk or any plant-based milk of choice. 1 tsp vanilla extract. A pinch of salt.
Instructions: Soak the Medjool dates in hot water for 10-15 minutes to soften them. Once softened, drain the dates and place them in a food processor. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, almond butter, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the food processor with the dates. Blend everything together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. You may need to scrape down the sides of the food processor and blend again to ensure it's well mixed. Taste the frosting and adjust sweetness or cocoa flavor as desired by adding more dates or cocoa powder. Transfer the vegan chocolate frosting to a bowl or an airtight container, and it's ready to use! Spread it on your favorite cakes, cupcakes, or desserts for a rich and delicious chocolatey experience!
