Drum Corps Stereotypes Put to Rest
Granted, there are just certain attributes that certain sections have (same goes with instructors, designers, etc), but it’s safe to say that not everyone in every section fulfills each stereotype - there are a ton of very awesome individuals in the activity that kinda go against the stereotype.
Hey I guess stereotypes exist for a reason, but at the end of the day each person has their own unique characteristics.
This dude Clark seems pretty awesome. Drum Corps has a ton of awesome people like this guy - so many very smart and caring people who genuinely want to help shape the activity to get the best out of the journey and out of themselves - So Awesome. Drum Corps is full of awesome people.
I think it’s awesome that Fuse did “Clash of The Corps” (showcasing the Blue Devils and The Cadets) some years ago. It’s awesome to see drum corps get more mainstream recognition. God knows the best people you’ll find at anything typically have marched drum corps (no other place has matched that level of commitment and tenacity).
