Thank YOU so much. I’m going to bed (it’s 4 am!!!) but I thought it’d be great to leave this message on top of the blog until I wake up. This page was planned and organized, and I actually was excited to start sharing it and I thought I’d have to wat a lot because I wanted to do this campaign to celebrate Jared’s birthday. So it was like ‘I’ve got this great idea in FREAKING MARCH and I have to wait to make it a thing but I’m going to save the urls to be prepared’. And then this whole situation happened and I was so happy that I was ready to show Jared some love.

On my ‘Jared’s birthday’ plan, I thought I’d start talking about the project in early July, make a few posts talking about it, you know, sharing it. So it was kind of scary to be like ‘okay this needs to be done NOW’ and do everything in a rush. But the project has received an amazing feedback and everyone keeps sharing their stories and I smile everytime I see a new message popping up. 

I have to go through the messages to make sure they’re all about love and actually nice messages that would be positive for Jared to read and I’m so moved by everything I’ve read so far and I’m so proud of this family for supporting each other as much as we support the actors.

I don’t know if we’ll eventually get Jared to see this blog. I’m doing my best and everyone seems to be trying to share it. Maybe he will, maybe he wont, but I know that if he does, he will be incredbly proud of his fans and incredibly proud of himself, which is the point of all of this, showing him how much we care and how proud we are of him and how we’ve got his back. I also love the fact that there’s a ‘random’ button that will allow Jared and anyone who needs it to come to this blog and click on it and find a brand new post to read every time, regardless of when it was posted. It is important to keep the blog going and it’s important for those who want to share their stories but feel like they will be lost in a sea of messages. It doesn’t matter when you sent it!

And in case Jared doesn’t see it, this blog is an open place for everyone to talk about their struggles and vent about them, in anon if they don’t feel comfortable to share their identities, knowing that their stories will be read by people that understand and want to help.

I’ve been already told that these messages have been very helpful to those fighting their own fights and I already feel like my mission has been acomplished.

I only came to the Supernatural fandom about 6 months ago. I loved these characters on the screen - handsome, charismatic and brave, ‘saving people, hunting things’.

I took the time to check out the actors that played these characters and found people that shone even brighter than the characters they portrayed, real role models that were more caring and courageous and than their on screen counterparts.

I found the Supernatural family where I became part of something bigger than just me, I reached out and made new friends where before I would have stayed quiet. I have became part of a world where I am loved and I am strong, even when I feel at my weakest.

So thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now it’s our turn to return the favour and return the love that we feel so often from you. You are an inspiration to every one of us and we love you.
