Here’s a short film I made with 3 other friends for Citia’s New Year Wishes.

La Cité ne sera pas un musée statique, mais un lieu vivant dédié à la création animée mondiale. En 1960, le Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy voyait le jour. 65 ans plus tard, il s'apprête à se transformer en institution permanente.

Et voilà que Ankama s'engage comme mécène fondateur. Pas anodin. Pourquoi alors s'engager auprès de CITIA ?

La réponse, c'est l'humilité et la reconnaissance. Anthony Roux : « C'est une façon de remercier une institution qui a tant fait pour l'essor de notre industrie. » CITIA a permis à des créateurs français de rayonner mondialement. C'est du donnant-donnant.

Mais il y a plus. Ankama porte une vision humaniste de la Cité : « (...) un lieu vivant qui inspire la création, l'apprentissage et le rêve – un espace d'émerveillement où naîtront des vocations, où des univers prendront forme et où l'imagination pourra s'épanouir librement. »

Mackenzie Scott: They’ve become more and more intense as I’ve played live shows with a band. The dynamics have become much more emphasized and the sounds have gotten grungy and raw. I’m really enjoying myself. The live show aspect has become a huge release for me.

“Even when I was recording this album, I held myself back because I was afraid of letting myself go nuts and allowing people to see me unhinged. I was embarrassed. Being on the road this year has completely dissolved that self-imposed ball-and-chain.”
