Dear College Students
This is particularly for classes where there is seemingly no “right” answer to many things.
DO THE THINGS THAT DO HAVE A RIGHT ANSWER CORRECTLY.
Get the facts right in history-- look them up; get the grammar correct in English-- and everything else honestly; CITE CORRECTLY IN EVERY CLASS!
Particularly in a rhet/comp/English class: use the correct citations, in-text and for works cited pages. English has so few things that are black and white right/wrong, but those things are some of them. Your professor, if they’re worth their salt, will have gone over them. Pay attention when they do!
