Though sword lacks access to a phone or any technology, he sometimes while hanging out with rocket likes to spy on what he's doing with it,, and rocket is aware of that because of his best friend's TERRIBLE hiding skills, sometimes they like to watch stuff together, and rocket probably lets him borrow his phone every once in a while and catches him watching the most obviously fake posts on YouTube (or whatever equivalent of that they got in the inpherno) and sword would enjoy them sometimes believing them.. (not saying he's dumb he's just gullible)

I think sword deals with a lot of self haterd and that he doesnt feel very good about himself, this is something that happens to a lot who grew up very sheltered and hidden away. he has learned from his past experiences that whenever he tries to get involved, things escalate a lot worse and will only lead to further trouble. So he would rather stay quiet about his own feelings and bother with other people then try to talk about himself
