A Big Bird Tweeting
Because we've been swathed in silence for far too long.
hello?
Where did you go?
Fading now, soft & slow
Were you a fuse destined to blow?
Hello?
Maybe the gender wars are that bad
Maybe it's an algorithm thing
Maybe they're just not that into you
Or like the tootsie roll commercial said, "the world may never know"
What I do know is this poem style is called a Cinquain.
