The first thing that came to me, before I realized it was it was satire, was âthese mutha fuckersâ. It was explotive in nature, it made me want to turn it off. I needed to turn it off or look away so that I would not break my computer. The very nature of the film was to take and not give anything in return. The only party who benefits from the film is the film makers. They are going to sale the film to a foreign party, to feed of the the misery of others; all the while thinking they were doing a good job. They would pat themselves on the back, saying how they brought awareness to the world. The people where lucky they where there. A know that this is not what has happened, but has it happened? How many refugee documentaries, or ones on the poor, where made this way. To violate an already hurting group of people for a coffee table photography book is the worst kind of human. Perhaps maybe, help those you are trying to help. Ask them, pay them as your would a model. This is what I thought of when I watched this, and the absurdity of it all was well displayed.
