Open Roads | mcu, sam/bucky, double drabble The wind ruffled Bucky's hair as Sam floored it down the wide open road, and even though he missed the feeling of his bike between his legs, he had to admit that there was a certain charm to travelling like this.

Thrown Into the Dark | mcu, sam/bucky, chaptered hurt/comfort Bucky rolled over, jerking awake as the sunlight poured into the dingy motel room. Sam grunted from somewhere beside him, and Bucky realised that the thing holding him down was Sam's arm, draped heavy across his hips.

The Advantages of Loitering | ffvii, cid/vincent, double drabble sequence Without the chaos of the rest of their party, the Saucer seemed almost quiet. The Haunted Hotel suited Vincent just fine, and he'd spent an enjoyable hour or so just standing around and soaking in the atmosphere.

Today's ffxiiposting I bring to you: Cid's Fucking Office! Obviously it's been absolutely trashed by Reddas, but I'm obsessed with this. I wrote his office as being fairly big, messy with stuff everywhere but also I was definitely imagining it to have a window.

THERE IS NO WINDOW. His office is this little fucking box!! It's full of shite too. He's got weird machinery, he's got an assortment of test tubes just on his desk, he's got shit on the walls and documents everywhere, big ol crates on the floor, I'm obsessed!!

i will move away from my answer of sartbasch and quintus/jullus for the first question and go with a ffxii theme: Ashe/Balthier/Al-Cid is a HUGELY underrated ship to me!!! there are FIVE FICS about them and 2 are by me (i'm sure this stat used to be different, maybe someone deleted??) - there hadn't been a fic posted for them since 2013 when I posted my PDE fic last year, and this is fucking insane to me. Think of the political arrangements post-game!! Think of the outrageous flirting and dynamics!! OUGH. then again, a lot of my fave xii ships are massively underrated to me!! Cid/Vayne itself only has 8 (2 by me, 3 for me, and the latest fic posted before my first was 2009), and then there's Noah/Basch like. I know people don't like incest but MAN. RONSENCEST. 29 fics (5 by me)!!! Disgraceful lmao.

My fave canon Cid/Vayne moment is a toss-up between their cutscene around the Giruvegan part of the game where they talk about Larsa and Vayne's plans, and the end of the game where Vayne says "Won't Cid be eager to learn what has happened here. History begins anew." like boyyyyyy you're walking to your painful fiery death by Mist transformation and joining with Venat but you're still thinking about how you're going to be able to tell Cid just how well your joint plan worked?! HELLO??? shit makes me fucking insane.
