i got a new screen protector specifically for drawing so now i can create worse comix with less effort.

i've honestly been quite nervous to post this, because i've been having some pretty bad ocd spirals about it, but i know its not grounded in reality and i've worked really hard on this.

this scan isn't the best (there are some details that it misses, and the shading looks a lot darker in person), but these are the pages of a black and white comic that i just finished for a weekly cartooning class. this actually did happen, in like late september of this year.

the comic is in the form of a stapled booklet, i wanna say like 5"x4", cardstock and i used micron pens in the sizes 005, 03, 08, 1, and brush. i haven't used this kind of cross hatching style for a big traditional art piece since i was probably 15 or so, so i'm happy it still looks good. i spent about 15 hours designing and drawing this comic, and about 5-6 of those hours were inking.

ID: a comic drawn in the style of a “sections of drinking an alcoholic beverage” meme with a pecan porter beer. the first third of the beer has a drawing of a dog wearing glasses and holding the beer, thinking, “yummy dark beer with dinner! and its pecan flavored, woo!”

the second section has the same dog with its paws on the table and a forlorn expression. the text reads “oh god who am i kidding, normal therianthropy isn’t like this. you know this is cl cz. you’ve never responded to a single antipsychotic in your stupid puppy life. half a dozen psych professionals gave up on your case. you still don’t have a schizophrenia diagnosis. fuck.”
